Euphoria Project X Tore Up HiFi Club, Leeds!

Wow! No words. Honestly.

Now that the dust has settled, what an unbelievable night it was. Euphoria took over HiFi club in Leeds for a stacked Drum & Bass bonanza which definitely didn’t disappoint! It was our tenth show, and what better way to celebrate? The Leeds DnB scene was out in full force. If you were there, you know what I’m talking about. If not, you missed out. Big time.

A wide spectrum of sub-genres were ventured through, from Jungle to Jump up and the local talent on display was nothing short of mind-bending. Let me touch on each set, as our residents deserve individual credit for all the hard work they put into making the ravers skank out to no avail.

T-BOOTH

Four to the floor heaven! T-Booth delivered a huge, high-energy mix that had HiFi Club bouncing from the off. A very talented DJ who is making big waves in the Leeds dance music scene, and for good reason. A perfect mix of 4x4, Jump up and everything in between. No better way to kick off Project X.

LICIA

She brought pure vibes to Leeds, perfectly traversing through Dancefloor and Jump up, mixing the two effortlessly. Oh, did I mention that Licia blessed us with some live vocals as well?! A blissful, uplifting set with a brilliant twist that projects her pure skill.

DUSH B2B M4CE

With Dush hanging up his DnB boots for the foreseeable future, it was only right we gave him a proper send off with our very own wizard on the decks, M4ce. A Dancefloor heavy set which had the crowd in awe, both lads smashed it and set us on track for an amazing night at Euphoria Project X. Two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and two wicked DJs. You’re welcome back anytime, Dush mate.

Team Euphoria (R4veB4by B2B Ieuan B2B BYPASS)

This was just amazing to see. With the endless work that is put into Euphoria by them every single day, their set reflected a moment to step back and appreciate what they had created for us all that night. Everyone in HiFi had a smile on their face for the whole duration of this, even the workers couldn’t resist. From gritty minimal to big Jump-up and Dancefloor blends, this set had it all. It was 80 minutes of craziness. Need I say more?

Fonzo B2B Geometrikk

The only way I can describe this is absolutely immense. Non-stop filth from these two talented individuals, they gave you no time to come up for air before the next onslaught of bass pulsated through the sound system. The crowd were having it right off and reloads were called for more times than I can remember. Bellissimo.

Fanchu B2B Swabbo

Local legend Fanchu and myself brought the dark energy to Project X in full effect! A performance packed with rolling, jungly blends as much as it was face melters, we sure didn’t disappoint to get the audience moving their feet. Oh, and who doesn’t love some 140 to put the icing on the cake ay?

Fred Ryder B2B Termz

These boys closed the night perfectly. Massive drops, ethereal buildups and straight up evil blends left the ravers begging for more when that final tune was spun. Littered with their own productions, Fred and Termz bossed it out the park, dub after dub after dub.

The selectas were on point, the ravers were on point. The energy and vibes were on a new level at Project X, and we thank everyone involved for creating such a special atmosphere, from the minute it opened, right to the end. Thank you to the team for all their efforts and making the night run so smoothly, the residents for providing the big beats, and especially the ravers for showing up and showing out. It was amazing to see the Leeds DnB scene thriving once again, proving that you can’t top grassroots events.

But who said massive raves with mega lineups can’t be grassroots either?... A return to our home, once more. Here at Euphoria, we got you. Who doesn’t love a birthday party right?!
